School Library

The school library is a valuable resource open to all bonafide students, aiming to cultivate a habit of reading and knowledge acquisition. Below are the rules for the proper utilization of the school library:

  • Library Card: Students must possess a library card duly signed by the librarian to borrow books.
  • Silence: Maintain silence within the library premises to create a conducive environment for reading and studying.
  • Book Care: Students are responsible for the care of library books. Any damage or loss of a book will incur penalties based on its value.
  • Borrowing Protocol: Books can only be borrowed on the student's own library card. Reference books are for in-library use only and will not be issued to students.
  • Late Returns: A fine will be charged for returning books or periodicals after the due date.
  • Items Allowed: Only essential items such as student diaries, paper, pencils, and pens are permitted inside the library along with library books due for return.
  • Class X and XII Students: Students of classes X and XII must return all library books and obtain a clearance certificate from the librarian before collecting their Board Examination hall ticket, ensuring accountability and proper management of library resources.
  • By adhering to these guidelines, students can make the most of the resources offered by the school library while maintaining its integrity and functionality for all users.
