Guidelines to Parents

Important Notice to Parents:

As partners in your child's education and well-being, we kindly request your attention to the following important guidelines:

  • Lunch Policy: We remind parents that children must bring their lunch with them when they arrive at school in the morning. For safety and administrative reasons, parents will not be permitted to hand over lunch to students during school hours.
  • Celebration Guidelines: In the interest of promoting a healthy and inclusive environment, the distribution of toffees and other eatables to celebrate events such as birthdays is strictly prohibited. Instead, we encourage parents to consider presenting books to the school library in celebration of their child's special day.
  • Birthday Dress Code: On birthdays, students from KG to V standard are permitted to wear decent birthday dresses to mark the occasion. This serves as a special acknowledgment of their milestone and fosters a sense of celebration within appropriate bounds.

We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to these guidelines, which contribute to the safety, well-being, and inclusive atmosphere of our school community. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school administration. Together, let's ensure a positive and enriching experience for all our students at Green Park International Senior Secondary School.

  • Cooperation with School Management: Parents are urged to cooperate with the school management in enforcing punctuality and discipline among students, fostering a conducive learning environment.
  • School Departure Policy: Parents/Guardians are permitted to take students out of the school premises only at 12:30 p.m. or 3:45 p.m. and not at any other time in-between, ensuring minimal disruption to the school day.
  • Update Contact Information: Parents/Guardians are requested to promptly inform the school office of any changes in their residential address or contact numbers, ensuring effective communication channels.
  • Money Policy: Parents must refrain from allowing students to bring money to school for personal expenses, as it may lead to unwanted behaviors and complications.
  • Supporting Home Learning: Parents/Guardians are encouraged to create a conducive atmosphere at home for their children to prepare their lessons effectively, ensuring academic progress and success.
  • Prompt Pick-Up: Parents/Guardians must ensure prompt pick-up of their child/children from the school premises soon after the school day concludes, ensuring their safety and timely departure.
  • Reviewing Test Papers: Answer papers and progress reports will be provided to parents/guardians after every school test/examination. It is essential for parents to review these papers carefully and assist their children in addressing areas of weakness. Failure to return papers/progress reports on time, duly signed, may affect the child's eligibility for future examinations.
  • Complaint Procedure: Parents are encouraged to address any concerns or complaints directly to the Principal or Administrative Officer (A.O.), rather than class teachers, facilitating efficient resolution and communication.
  • Safety Assurance: The school authorities take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of students within the school premises during school hours. Parental Responsibility Outside School: While every effort is made to ensure student safety within the school premises, parents are reminded that the school authorities are not responsible for incidents occurring outside the school premises.
  • Attendance at Meetings: Parents are urged to actively participate in parent-teacher meetings, parent's management meetings, and other school-arranged events, fostering collaboration and engagement in their child's education.
  • Vehicle Usage: Parents must refrain from allowing their children to drive bikes or any other heavy vehicles to school or elsewhere until the age of 18, ensuring their safety and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Teacher Meetings: Parents can arrange meetings with teachers during school hours with the consent of the Principal, facilitating open communication and collaboration between home and school.
  • These guidelines aim to promote a supportive and collaborative relationship between parents and the school, ensuring the well-being, safety, and academic success of every student at all times.
